While the pups were sleeping

I made a couple of paintings to go on the wall. We got a new king bed and a new duvet cover so I wanted to paint something to match. We don't have a bed frame yet so the paintings are taking up most of the wall in the meantime.

I textured the canvases, then went over them with acrylic paint in slight variances to make it look like suede. To mimic the duvet cover I glued various shades of blue and brown ribbon down the canvases. I think it came out cute. Canvases are 25.5x34". I like to read before bed. . . can you tell where I sleep?
